* January Choir Practice | 14th January 2010

A new year and so much to discuss: upcoming RGIs, monthly jollies and a private event that we've been invited to that I don't have to organise; will wonders never cease? The date and venue will be:

* Merry Christmas One & All | 25 December 2009

I've had plenty of texts today from people wishing both myself and the team a fantastic day and this seems to be the perfect place to pass on our best wishes. So, from all the Sea Devils, Merry Christmas to you all!

* CAGE Airsoft FIBUA Day at Serial 20, Hythe | 14 December 2009

On the 3rd January a number of us will be heading down to Serial 20 on Hythe ranges for a little bit of FIBUA action. Feedback on the first Serial 20 game was overwhelmingly positive (Ed, John and Tackle attended) so we're hoping for a good dry day. If you fancy joining us then head over to the CAGE forum thread regarding the event for info on how to book your place (link below) or go to our thread on the subject for more info on our attendance.

Unfortunately we're not allowed to take cameras into the play area (MOD policy) so there won't be any pics to see afterwards; however we'll do our best to report back on our experiences.

* September Choir Practice | 6 September 09

It's that time again and on the cards will be a quick debrief of the F&O Mall visit and discussion of some upcoming events. The date and venue will be:

WEDNESDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER 2009
The Railway Bell, Temple Ewell

* F&O Mall Photos are up | 5 September 09

The photos from our jolly to the new F&O Mall site are now available on Facebook: there's not many of 'em but a few of our party made it into the frame and, as always, we're looking awesome. While we weren't completely bowled over with the the site we fought hard and played well, and we'll be looking forward to heading back in greater numbers and better prepared. Until then enjoy the pics!

* Ed returns from H4H March | 24 July 09

It's recognition time and our own Ed Pegg has just returned from a successful sponsored burdened march for the charity Help For Heroes

"Got back from my 100 mile ( nearer to 120 mile in the end) trek from London... and it is an experience that cannot be described. Some lows, tons of highs. I did the march partially to challenge myself and see what I'm capable of, and I've come out of it very happy with myself...

With thousands of pounds of sponsorship money raised Ed has made a fantastic contribution towards the treatment and rehabilitation of the brave men and women who serve this country and are wounded doing their duty. Well done mate: you're an example to us all!

* August Choir Practice | 24 July 09

We haven't had a CP in some time so it's about time we had one; on the cards will be a quick debrief of the Grudgematch and discussion of our upcoming visit to the Mall and future trips to AWA Romford and UCAP. The date and venue will be:

WEDNESDAY 5TH AUGUST 2009
The White Horse, Dover

* Urban Assault Photos | 11 April 09

The photos from our visit to Urban Assault are up on Photobucket!

It was a long way to go and it was mostly damp but once again Urban Assault delivered some opportunities for tactical play that other sites just could not provide. Some of the buildings have deteriorated since the last time we were there (the first flight of stairs we encountered being one of the casualties Shocked) but overall the structures made for some of the most demanding play we've had for a while.

The camera was new to me so I'm still learning how to use all the functions, plus I only got to take some pics during a defensive game. Next time I'll get the pics at the start of the day and hopefully I'll get some of us on the offensive. Until then check out the pics.

* Installation R17/6 Photos | 7 March 09

The photos for our little jaunt to Bristol have been published!

The games, hosted by Wraith Alpha at FCS Bristol, were played on the 7th March this year and turned out to be a real challenge for all those involved; the site itself puts the C in CQB but that didn't stop Wraith's Ian and Mark putting together some testing scenarios for our little band of travellers.

Big thanks go to all those who turned up, Jay for putting himself in harms way for the sake of recording the event, those special people who opened their homes to us and Wraith Alpha as a team for inviting us; we must do it again some time!

Until then however we'll just enjoy all these lovely photos:

* Welcome to the Sea Devils Website

Welcome to The Sea Devils website!

This is now the main website for the Sea Devils airsoft team; here can be found information with regards our movements, victories and defeats as well as the day-to-day running of the team. The forums here are the best way of contacting any of us and we're always looking for more members; if you think you've got what it takes just register and post up a quick introduction.

The Sea Devils, it's fair to say, are prone to wandering off. When given the all clear from our respective wives, girlfriends and children you'll more than likely see us taking full advantage of our respite from drudgery by hastily loading up the cars and heading to pastures new.

Although we tend to play mostly in the East Kent area we do make the effort to check out other sites around the country, whether they're hosting special game days/weekends or not, and do our bit for the greater airsoft community: meet new people, play to the best of our ability and own some hills! But what would be the point if these travels weren't documented? From now on you'll be able to see our visit reports right here on our portal page, with hopefully some pics and comments from some of our dedicated fighters.

Right now we're preparing for some big games and reports will follow. Until then take some time to look around and feel free to drop us a line.

Cheers
